Reporting Users, Disputes & Escrow Resolution

At BDX (Bangladesh Digital Exchange), we maintain a transparent, fair, and evidence-backed dispute resolution system. Whether you encounter a suspicious user attempting off-platform fraud, receive an invalid digital item, or experience a non-delivery scenario, BDX provides robust tools to flag issues, freeze escrow funds, and receive administrative intervention.

🚩 Reporting Suspicious Users & Pre-Sale Misconduct

You do not need an active order to report users who violate BDX policies. Pre-sale misconductβ€”such as soliciting off-platform trades, sending spam, or posting abusive messagesβ€”can be reported directly from the user profile or chat workspace.

When to Report a User

  • Off-Platform Solicitation: A user asks for your phone number, WhatsApp, Telegram, or offers direct bKash/Nagad payments outside BDX.
  • Harassment & Abuse: A user engages in offensive, abusive, or threatening language in chat or comments.
  • Suspicious Listing Practices: A seller posts duplicate spam listings, advertises prohibited items (cheats/hacks), or attempts bait-and-switch pricing.

How Pre-Sale Reports Are Processed

  1. Report Submission: Click the Report User icon on the user's store card or chat window and select the primary violation category.
  2. Automated Incident Logging: BDX logs the user ID, active chat history, and submitted evidence into the BDX Moderation Queue.
  3. Admin Intervention: BDX administrators review flagged accounts. Actions range from issuing formal account warnings and restricted chat permissions to issuing full store bans.

βš–οΈ Order Disputes & Escrow Protection Protocol

Every purchase completed through BDX checkout is protected by our 7-Day Escrow Hold System. Funds paid by the buyer are held securely in BDX platform escrow and are never released to the seller prior to delivery confirmation or completion of the protection period.

πŸ› οΈ Step-by-Step Guide: How to Open & Manage an Order Dispute

If an order is delivered incomplete, defective, invalid, or non-functional, follow this process before the 7-day protection period expires:

Step 1: Open a Dispute in the Order Workspace

Navigate to your order page (/orders/{order_id}) and click Open Dispute. Select the issue category:

  • Non-Delivery: Seller marked the order as delivered, but no credentials, key, or service was provided.
  • Invalid / Expired Credentials: Delivered game key, gift card code, or account password does not work.
  • Item Not as Described: Delivered account lacks advertised ranks/skins, or service was incomplete.
  • Account Reclaimed / Warranty Claim: Purchased game account was recovered by original owner during warranty.

Step 2: The Mandatory 24-Hour Seller Response Window

Once a dispute is opened:

  • The order status switches to Disputed, freezing escrow payout automatically.
  • The seller is notified instantly and given 24 hours to respond within the dispute thread, provide replacement credentials, or resolve the buyer's issue.

Step 3: Resolution Outcomes & Admin Arbitration

  • Scenario A: Seller Resolves the Issue: The seller provides valid replacement credentials or fixes the issue. Once verified, the buyer can click Resolve Dispute & Confirm Order.
  • Scenario B: Seller Agrees to Refund: The seller clicks Refund Buyer. Funds are instantly credited back to the buyer's BDX Balance Ledger (BdxBuyerWallet).
  • Scenario C: Seller Unresponsive (>24 Hours): If the seller fails to reply within 24 hours, the system automatically escalates the dispute. BDX admins review the claim and issue a full refund to the buyer.
  • Scenario D: Escalation to Admin Arbitration: If buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement, either party can click Escalate to Admin. BDX dispute moderators inspect chat logs, delivery attachments, and submitted proof to issue a final, binding decision.

πŸ“‘ Required Evidence for Dispute Claims

To ensure fast and favorable dispute resolution, buyers and sellers must provide clear, unedited evidence inside the BDX workspace:

Product CategoryRecommended Buyer EvidenceRecommended Seller Evidence
Game Keys / Gift CardsScreen recording showing code redemption attempt with date/time visible.Proof of purchase from authorized distributor; delivery timestamp.
Game AccountsUncut video recording from login attempt showing invalid password or ban screen.Uncut video showing account creation, password check, and delivery handoff.
In-Game Top-UpsIn-game profile screenshot showing Player ID, character name, and current balance.Transaction receipt from official game top-up portal showing Player ID and timestamp.
Boosting ServicesScreenshots of rank/progress before and after the service window.Match history screenshots and progress logs provided during boosting.

🚫 Abuse of Dispute System & Fraud Prevention

Disputes exist to protect honest buyers and sellers. Misusing the dispute process is a severe policy violation:

  • False Claims & Fake Disputes: Opening a dispute after successfully using a digital code or claiming non-delivery when items were received results in immediate dispute dismissal and a buyer account ban.
  • Chargeback Threat Exploits: Attempting to force refunds outside BDX while retaining delivered digital goods will result in account termination, blacklisting, and legal referral under Bangladeshi cyber laws.
  • Seller Non-Compliance: Sellers who consistently deliver invalid codes, ignore disputes, or attempt fraud face store closure, forfeiture of held funds, and payout freezes.
