Verified Reviews & Seller Rating System

The Verified Reviews & Seller Rating System on BDX.market maintains marketplace trust, transparency, and quality control. By restricting review creation strictly to verified buyers who have completed a paid transaction, BDX eliminates fake reviews, competitor sabotage, and artificial rating inflation across all gaming categories.

This document details the rating structure, review submission workflows, seller response mechanisms, and moderation standards enforced on BDX.market.

1. Trust Architecture & Verified Purchase Rules

Review integrity is governed by a strict rule: No verified completed order = No review permission.

Core Trust Principles

  1. 1 Order = 1 Review: A buyer can submit exactly one review per completed order ID, preventing review spamming.
  2. Post-Completion Requirement: Reviews can only be submitted after an order reaches completed status. Disputed or refunded orders do not post standard product reviews; their outcome is reflected in dispute metrics instead.
  3. Immutable History: Submitted reviews cannot be edited or deleted by sellers. Only platform administrators can remove reviews that violate content policies.

2. Review Record Details

Reviews store essential customer feedback attributes:

  • Verified buyer ID and seller store ID.
  • 1 to 5 star rating score.
  • Optional written comment (up to 1,000 characters).
  • Optional single seller response.

3. Rating Score Recalculation

A seller’s public rating score (displayed on product hubs, offer matrices, and seller storefronts) is recalculated automatically upon every new review submission:

  • Weighted Calculation: Incorporates total verified customer ratings to calculate a reliable average rating (from 1.0 to 5.0 stars).
  • Live Updating: Seller profile rating cards update in real time as new reviews are recorded.

4. Review Submission & Seller Response Workflow

Buyer Review Submission

  1. Star Rating Selector: Choose a rating from 1 to 5 stars on the order details page.
  2. Written Feedback: Provide optional details regarding delivery speed, seller communication, and product quality.
  3. Quick Tags: Select optional one-tap tags (e.g. Fast Delivery, Responsive Seller, Accurate Item).

Seller Public Reply

Sellers receive notifications when a buyer leaves a review. From the Seller Dashboard, sellers can publish a single public response:

  • Provides sellers a professional channel to clarify details or thank buyers.
  • Limited to one response per review to keep feedback concise.

5. Review Moderation & Policy Guidelines

To protect sellers from extortion while preserving authentic buyer feedback, BDX enforces clear review moderation policies.

Grounds for Review Removal by Moderation

Platform administrators will hide or delete a review only under the following conditions:

  1. Extortion or Threats: Evidence demonstrates the buyer threatened a negative review to demand free items, discounts, or unearned refunds.
  2. Personal Information Exposure: The review contains personal phone numbers, names, MFS account numbers, addresses, or private chat screenshots.
  3. Profanity or Offensive Language: Contains explicit profanity or abusive language targeting the seller.
  4. Incorrect Order Reference: The review references an item or seller unrelated to the actual purchase.

Sellers can request review moderation via support tickets by providing evidence of policy violations.
