Buyer Protection & Escrow Policy
At BDX (Bangladesh Digital Exchange), buyer safety and transaction trust are our top priorities. Every purchase made on BDX is backed by our strict escrow hold system and buyer protection policy.
1. How Escrow Holds Work
When you purchase a product or service on BDX:
- Buyer Pays BDX First: You submit payment directly to BDX via our supported payment options (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Bank Transfer). Funds are held securely in BDX escrow—never directly sent to the seller prior to delivery.
- Seller Delivers: The seller is notified of the order and delivers the digital goods or service via the BDX delivery system and buyer-seller chat workspace.
- 7-Day Protection Window: Once the seller completes the delivery, a 7-day protection period begins. The funds remain securely held in escrow during this window.
2. 7-Day Buyer Protection
During the 7-day protection window:
- You have time to inspect and verify the delivered credentials, top-ups, accounts, or digital items.
- If everything is correct and functional, you can confirm receipt to release the funds to the seller immediately.
- If you take no action, the order automatically completes after 7 days, and funds are released to the seller's wallet balance.
3. Disputes & Refunds
If the seller fails to deliver or delivers invalid/incorrect items:
- Opening a Dispute: You can open a dispute directly from your order workspace before the 7-day period expires.
- 24-Hour Seller Response Window: The seller is given 24 hours to respond to the dispute, provide valid proof of delivery, or fix the issue.
- Admin Moderation & Refund: If the seller fails to respond within 24 hours, or if the delivered product/service is proven invalid/defective, BDX admins step in to resolve the dispute and issue a full refund to your BDX wallet balance.
4. Off-Platform Payment Warning
BDX protection applies only to transactions completed through the BDX platform and escrow system. Any payment or contact details shared outside BDX void your protection and violate our Terms of Service.
