Buyer Wallet & BDX Balance Architecture
The BDX Buyer Wallet (referred to on the platform as BDX Balance) is an internal balance system managed securely for buyers. It enables buyers to store credit in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT / ৳), make single-click purchases, receive instant automated dispute refunds, and request withdrawals back to Mobile Financial Services (bKash/Nagad/Rocket) or local bank accounts.
This document details balance management, top-up workflows, withdrawal pipelines, and safety controls safeguarding buyer funds.
1. How BDX Wallet Balance Works
Buyer wallet balances are calculated dynamically from verified transaction ledger entries.
Available Balance = Total Verified Credits - Total Spent / Withdrawn / Reserved Debits

Available for Use Deducted / Held
- Credit Types (Top-Ups, Refunds, Adjustments):
- Contributes to spendable balance once verified.
- Pending top-ups appear in transaction history but are added to available balance only after payment verification.
- Debit Types (Order Payments, Withdrawals, Holds):
- Deducts from spendable balance instantly upon order placement or withdrawal request.
- When a cash-out request is submitted, requested funds are held immediately to prevent double-spending while processing occurs.
2. Wallet Top-Up Flow (Manual & Online)

Manual Deposit Workflow
- Buyer submits desired top-up amount and uploads transaction reference or screenshot via Account -> Wallet -> Top Up.
- A pending top-up entry is recorded.
- Support staff review payment proof. Upon verification, funds are credited instantly to the buyer's spendable BDX Balance.
Automated Online Gateway Top-Up
- Buyer selects online payment options and enters the top-up amount.
- Buyer is redirected to complete payment on the gateway portal.
- Upon instant gateway callback verification, funds credit automatically to the buyer's balance.
3. Instant Checkout via BDX Balance
Paying for an order using BDX Balance provides the fastest checkout experience on BDX.market:
- Instant Deduction: Selecting BDX Balance at checkout deducts the exact order total from your spendable balance without redirection.
- Immediate Order Activation: The order is marked as paid immediately, notifying the seller to deliver (or triggering instant automated delivery for auto-delivery items).
- Receipt & Notifications: Order confirmation is sent instantly to the buyer's account and registered email.
4. Cash-Out / Withdrawal Pipeline
Buyers can request to withdraw available BDX Balance back to personal bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Bank accounts.
Cash-Out Process
- Request Submission: Buyer submits withdrawal details (amount, payment method, account number, account holder name) via Account -> Wallet -> Withdraw.
- Balance Hold: Submitting a request places an immediate hold on the requested amount, deducting it from spendable balance to prevent double-spending.
- Fulfillment: Support staff process the withdrawal transfer to the buyer's mobile wallet or bank account.
- Rejection Handling: If a cash-out request is cancelled or rejected, held funds return immediately to the buyer's spendable balance.
