BDX Seller Protection & Escrow Safety Architecture

BDX.market is built on a gaming-first digital escrow framework designed to protect legitimate sellers against buyer abuse, fraudulent chargebacks, false claims of non-delivery, and unauthorized dispute attempts. While buyer protection ensures purchasers receive what they paid for, BDX Seller Protection ensures that once a digital product or service is properly delivered and verified, the seller's earnings are safely guaranteed.

This document details the safeguards, financial models, and operational policies that protect sellers on BDX.market.

1. Core Principles of BDX Seller Protection

Seller protection on BDX relies on four structural guarantees:

  1. Mandatory Escrow Storage: Buyers must pay BDX in full before the seller is instructed to deliver. Sellers never risk delivering items to buyers whose funds have not cleared.
  2. On-Platform Evidence Trail: All order communications, delivery notes, and credential exchanges are logged on secure BDX servers. Off-platform agreements (e.g. Discord, WhatsApp) are excluded from dispute evidence to prevent buyer spoofing.
  3. No Post-Completion Disputes: Once an order transitions to completed (either via buyer confirmation or auto-completion after 7 days), it is final. Buyers cannot open a dispute or request a refund on completed sales.
  4. Protection Against Invalid Disputes: Unpaid orders, cancelled orders, and active disputed orders cannot be re-disputed or manipulated.

2. Protection Mechanisms & Order Safety

Strict rules govern the BDX order lifecycle to protect sellers from unauthorized state modifications.

Preventing Post-Completion Disputes

Once an order is confirmed by the buyer or auto-completed after the 7-day protection window:

  • The sale is marked as completed and terminal.
  • The buyer cannot open a dispute after order completion.
  • The sale credit in the seller's BDX Wallet is final and protected from buyer clawbacks.

Preventing Double-Dispute Exploits

Buyers are blocked from filing multiple disputes on the same transaction. An active dispute blocks additional dispute submissions on that order.

3. Financial Protection & Escrow Holds

When an order is disputed, funds are not immediately deducted or refunded. Instead, funds are placed on hold while the dispute is mediated:

  • Held Funds Isolation: During an active dispute, funds for that specific order are held in escrow moderation.
  • Cleared Balance Unaffected: A dispute on one order only holds funds for that specific transaction. It never freezes a seller's existing cleared wallet balance or halts payouts for unrelated completed sales.

4. Protection Against Common Buyer Exploits

BDX includes safeguards to protect sellers from adversarial buyer behaviors:

A. Buyer Cancelling After Delivery

Buyers can only cancel an order before delivery occurs. Once the seller marks the order as delivered, the buyer's cancellation option is disabled. The buyer's only option is to confirm delivery or open a formal dispute with proof.

B. Proof of Credential Delivery

For digital deliveries (such as activation keys, game accounts, or gift cards), BDX records the exact timestamp when a buyer views the delivered credentials. If a buyer falsely claims non-receipt, BDX admins verify delivery viewing records.

C. Buyer Inactivity & Auto-Completion Safeguard

If a seller delivers an order and the buyer ignores it, the seller is not trapped indefinitely. Orders in delivered status for 7 days without a buyer dispute are automatically completed by the system, releasing funds to the seller's withdrawable wallet.

5. Seller Winning Outcomes

When BDX administrators review dispute evidence and rule in favor of the seller:

  1. Resolution Verdict: The dispute decision is recorded as resolved in favor of the seller.
  2. Funds Release: The order status transitions to completed, releasing funds into the seller's wallet.
  3. Wallet Credit: The escrowed sale amount (minus category commission) is immediately credited to the seller's available BDX Wallet balance.
  4. Notification: A resolution notice is posted in the dispute thread informing both parties of the decision.
  5. Appeal Window: The buyer has 24 hours to file a formal appeal, but funds remain securely credited to the seller unless compelling new evidence is introduced.

6. How Sellers Can Maximize Protection

To maintain maximum protection coverage on all sales:

  1. Keep All Communications Inside BDX: Never agree to communicate off-platform (such as Discord or WhatsApp). Off-platform chat logs are easily forged and cannot be verified by BDX staff.
  2. Deliver Proof with Every Order: When submitting delivery notes, upload screenshots of game account transfers, trade receipts, or activation logs.
  3. Respond Formally Within 24 Hours: Always submit a formal response with evidence as soon as a dispute is opened.
  4. Verify Buyer Details: Use the BDX chat workspace to confirm order parameters before delivering high-value digital goods or services.
